ISSEY MIYAKE openes new flagship store in Tokyo
Japanese fashion house ISSEY MIYAKE has recently opened a new flagship store in Tokyo at Shibuya Parco. Dubbed ISSEY MIYAKE Shibuya, the S-shaped premises see an understated setting designed by the brand’s in-house design team, featuring smoothly stuccoed walls, concrete flooring and large windows at the far end of the store.
Furnishings are sparse and comprise of sleek clothing racks, a bag display wall, and glass and steel display tables and cabinets. The offerings at ISSEY MIYAKE Shibuya are anchored by the brand’s Homme Plissé ISSEY MIYAKE and BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE lines and complemented by selected items from the fashion house’s other lines.
